RACE INFORMATION
The Leighton 10K is a friendly multi-terrain race using public roads, footpaths, parkland and trails. The event is run entirely by experienced volunteers and welcomes runners of all abilities.

RACE NUMBERS/NUMBER COLLECTION
- Race numbers can be collected from race HQ before the race from 07:45 - 08:30
- Race bibs contain the timing chip - please ensure you pass over the timing mat at the start and end of the race.
- Numbers must be worn clearly on your front and remain visible at all times.
- Please show the QR Code at the registration desk. You will receive this in the days running up to the event.
PARKING
- On-site parking is available. Please follow marshal directions and park considerately.
- Please note - parking and the race HQ have different postcodes. For parking please use: LU7 4TG, What Three Words ///limit.dizzy.quest
FACILITIES
- Toilets and changing rooms are available at Race HQ
- Medical support is available at the finish
- Post-race refreshments available (a contribution to LB Mencap is greatly appreciated.)
BAGGAGE
- Please leave any baggage in your vehicle. Parking is very close to race HQ.
- If you do not have a car with you, you may leave baggage at HQ however this will be at your own risk.
SHOES
- Although the course is multi-terrain, we would recommend wearing road shoes.
PHOTOS
- Photographers will be out on the course and photos will be available to download from our website after the event.
HEADPHONES, DOGS AND BUGGIES
- Please be aware that, for your own safety, no earphones of any kind (including bone conduction) are allowed on the course. This is to allow you to be able to hear instructions from marshals.
- Dogs and buggies are not permitted.
RESULTS
- Results will be published shortly after the race.
- You will receive an SMS after finishing with your gun and chip times. Results are also available live on the website.

Age Category Awards
Male and Female Under 20, Senior Male (SM) and Senior Female (SW), Male and Female V40, Male and Female V50, Male and Female V60, Male and Female V70
- Age category winners will receive a certificate issued after the event.
- Overall prize winners are not eligible for age category prizes. Age category awards will be made to the next eligible finisher in that category. Prizes may not be combined.
WITHDRAWAL
- If you withdraw from the race, please inform a marshal or return to Race HQ as soon as possible.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
- All runners must be medically fit to compete and enter at their own risk. The organisers will not be held responsible for any injury, accident, loss, or damage arising from participation in this race, whether before, during, or after the event. For your own safety, the details given when entering the race will be available to the Race Director and emergency services if required. We do not offer refunds or deferrals under any circumstances. You can transfer your place; please see the FAQs. No dogs or pushchairs are allowed.
