DESCRIPTION
The Paws for a Cause 5K is coming to Fond du Lac, WI for a 5K Run/Walk. This Family/Dog Friendly event will benefit the Fond du Lac Humane Socety. The event is sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka and their Vodka for Dog People program. Get this Run/Walk on your race calendar as a morning of fun is in store...all to help support our furry friends...and plan on hanging around for a fun day on the grounds.

VIRTUAL RACE DETAILS
Not able to make Race Day but still want get some bling and support the charity? Then registering for the Virtual Race is just for you!! The Virtual Race can be run (or walked) anytime and anywhere…even indoors on a treadmill Simply register as a Virtual Runner, complete the distance anytime you desire and email us your results (be honest) to post. We will mail you a complete Paws for a Cause 5K goodie bag including T-Shirt, Finishers Medal, Race Bib and other Tito’s swag within 15 days of the conclusion of the event. (NOTE: Virtual participants are not eligible for Finishers and Age Group Awards)
POST RACE FESTIVITIES
Post Race festivties will take place at the Race Venue. We thank the Red Cabin at Green Acres for their hospitality. Following the race you can redeem your Tito's drink coupon and plan on staying around for some food and fun following the morning event. Red Cabin is providing a food tent where they will be serving a lighter fare snack menu (breakfast burritos, wraps and chicken breast sandwiches) for you all to enjoy ($3-$8...cash preferred, please). Make a morning out of it and enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Red Cabin.
THE FOND DU LAC HUMANE SOCIETY
We will be running to raise awareness and funds for the Fond du Lac Humane Society whose mission is dedicated to providing humane care and treatment to all animals needing protection, and to enhancing the lives of animals and people through education, adoption, and compassion.

This scenic route begins and ends at the Red Cabin at Green Acres.

RACE DAY DETAILS:
The run starts promptly at 10:00 AM. Check-in and on-site registration begins at 8:30 AM. We recommend arriving early and giving yourself enough time get your race packet and get to the start line. We ask that runners start in the front, with walkers and those with strollers and dogs start to the back. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a dog friendly event, however all dogs must be leashed at all times during the event. By registering and having a dog in attendance, you assume all liability and release all sponsors, organizers and municipalities from any liability arising from your pet’s actions.
PARKING:
There is parking available on the Red Cabin property. Please watch for signs indicating designated parking areas.
AWARDS:
All participants will receive a custom finishers medal. The top three male and female will be recognized as well as top male and female in predetermined age groups.
PRE RACE PACKET PICKUP
There will be no Pre-Race Day packet pickup. Packet pickup and Onsite Regsitration will begin at 8:30AM on Race Day morning.
