Abu Dhabi Sports Council Cycle Race | Yas Island

The Abu Dhabi Sports Council's community cycling race series returns to Yas Island on Friday 28 September 2018. 

A long form Criterium Race around the 4.4 km course on closed roads adjacent to Gateway Park on Yas Island (near Yas Mall, Ikea and Ace Hardware).

Races include a 12 or 14-lap option (Long Course) with all riders finishing once the winner crosses the line and a 9 or 10-lap option race (Short Course) for adult riders and experienced juniors 14-17 years.

The program also includes a 4-lap Junior U11 race (7.2 km) and a 6-lap U13 race (10.8 km).

There is ample parking at Yas Mall (near Debenhams) and in Gateway Park.

Timings:

6:30 am: Start Long Course
7:50 am: Start Junior Mini Course races*
8:15 am: Start Short Courses*

*Start times for Junior Mini and Short Course subject to change pending the finish time of the Long Course race.

PLEASE NOTE: Participants may ONLY use a road bike.  No time trial, mountain, fixed gear, track bikes or any additional handlebar.
