Is it a timed event?

Yes, we are using disposable timing chips that will be attached to the back of the race numbers. However, the emphasis is on enjoying yourself. Go as fast or as slow as you want.

Get your instant printed individual results slips at the Finish line. Live provisional online results will also be available (GPRS signal permitting, otherwise within 2 hours of the Event). Personalised Finishers’ certificates will be emailed out to everyone a few days after the Event.

Where do I get my race number/chip from?

You collect this from the start area on race morning, so ensure you arrive in plenty of time to get yours.

Is there a bag drop off point?

There will be a bag drop point and you will be given a number corresponding to your race number to attach to your bag. However, we cannot ensure security and therefore any items left are at the owners own risk.

Transport and Parking:

There are some car parks inside Streetly Gate. There are also car parks inside Boldmere Gate which is a short walk away from the start line. Car parks are fee (before 11:00am), however the park does get busy so if you can we would encourage participants to either car share or use public transport.

Sutton Park is served by excellent road links, the nearest train station is Sutton Coldfield and there are regular bus services that drop off and pick up around the park from Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham City Centre.

Other information:

Please note the event is only open to over 18’s.

We would request that you do not run if you feel ill or have a cold or flu on race day as this can be extremely dangerous.
