Elimination stage. Cyclists have a precise time to finish the lap which  reduces at each new lap. Riders must complete the lap inside the fixed time otherwise they are eliminated. Only the last 2 laps are “free”. The winners are the ones crossing the finish line as first, second and third.

The Intermediate Sprint  winner is the cyclist  who will pass unders the finish arch of the second-last lap in first position.
