CHALLENGE 1 – THE CLIMB STAGE

The Abu Dhabi Tour Challenge  offers 2 race distances with the race starting at Wadi Adventure and taking riders on a relatively flat looped course before the climb to the top of Jebel Hafeet. This race is valid for the ABU DHABI TOUR CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP only for the riders that do the long distance. The first 15 riders earn the points.  

• Short Course (47K =  3 x 10K loops then riding to the top of Jebel Hafeet)
• Long Course ( 67K = 5 x 10K loops then riding to the top of Jebel Hafeet.
• Categories - Juniors (14-17 Short Course Only), Open (18-39), Masters (40-49) and Veterans (50+)

SPECIAL CLASSIFICATION : KING OF THE MOUNTAIN

The King of the Mountain ( KOM and QOM)  is the rider who will achieve the best timing climbing the last 12 km up to the finish line.  The best climber can be the rider of the 47 km or 67 Km cycle race.

The winner of this special classification win a special jersey and 3 additional points for the championship.
