Race Overview

Join us for the 2nd Annual Hope for Haiti 5K on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 7:00 pm!  The course will be through the beautiful Oakland Plantation, starting at the Chick-Fil-A of North Mount Pleasant. 

Beneficiary

The event will be hosted on behalf of Light from Light, a 501(c)3 non profit whose mission is to improve the life of the people in Haiti.  All funds raised through the event will go to Light from Light , which financially supports the Lespwa Timoun clinic and it's nutritional program.

Race Details

Cost for the 5K is $35 for adults (18 & Over); participants recieve a race t-shirt.  Children under 18 are free (race t-shirts are available for $10.00 each).  Overall and Age Group Winners, male and female, will be recognized. Age Group categories are as follows:

<12 years old; 13-19 years old; 20-29 years old; 30-39 years old; 40-49 years old; 50-59 years old; 60-69 years old; 70+ years old

Online registration is open until June 7th.  On-site registration will be available during packet pick-up from 5-6pm on race day, June 8th.  Register by June 1st to guarantee we have your preferred shirt size.

Packet pick-up will be from 5-6:30pm on race day, June 8th.

VOLUNTEERS!  

We absolutely could not have a successful event without our volunteers.  If you are interested in helping with set up, on-site registration, packet pick-up, handing out water to competitors, cheering for participants on the course, or other tasks, you can sign up online or by emailing miranda@lightfromlight.me.
