ISTH 2017 5K Charity Run/Walk

Keep Life Flowing – benefiting World Thrombosis Day

The participation fee is 10 EUR and all proceeds will benefit World Thrombosis Day.  

Join us for the ISTH 2017 5K Charity Run/Walk on Tuesday July 11 at 8 p.m.. Stay fit and help raise awareness and support ISTH’s global World Thrombosis Day awareness campaign.

All congress attendees are invited to participate in a beautiful evening run (or walk) nearby in Berlin’s famous Grunewald forest while positively impacting their health and contributing to a good cause.

Please take care that you pick-up your T-shirt (for the first 200 registrants) and starter number on-site at the registration counter in the Messe Berlin Convention Center/City Cube on:
Monday, July 10               10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesday, July 11              10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The ISTH 2017 5K Charity Run starts at 8 p.m., with bus shuttle service leaving from the main entrance of the CityCube. Pick up starts at 7:15 p.m..

Directional signs to the starting line will be provided from the CityCube for those who prefer to walk (distance about 0,6 mile or 1 km).

The run starts and finishes at the tennis facility SC Brandenburg and runs a loop around a forest path for 5 km.

Changing rooms, toilets, showers and a cloakroom will be available at the SC Brandenburg.
Beverages and fruit will be provided to all participants.

The first 200 registered participants will receive a race T-shirt and the first three female and the first three male finishers will receive a medal for their efforts! 
The victory ceremony starts at 9 p.m..

Bus shuttle service from the race finish to the CityCube will begin at 9:15 p.m. and end at 9:45 p.m..

Care to make it even more fun and competitive?
