Join us for the Inaugural Forty Fort 4 Miler Run/Walk, a community event dedicated to celebrating the life and legacy of Danny Jones Jr. while raising awareness and support for those impacted by substance use disorder.

Whether you're running for a personal best, walking with friends, or participating in honor of a loved one, your presence helps bring hope, healing, and support to families throughout our community.

Proceeds benefit the Danny Jones Jr. Memorial Fund at The Luzerne Foundation, supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorder while helping expand resources, education, and recovery efforts throughout our community.

💙 Honoring Danny Jones Jr.

Danny Jones Jr. was remembered for his infectious smile, his love of music, and the way he brought people together. He treasured time spent with his family and friends and had a gift for making those around him laugh. Although Danny's life was tragically cut short by an accidental overdose in 2020, his story continues to inspire compassion, awareness, and hope.

This event honors Danny's memory by helping others facing the challenges of addiction and reminding our community that every life matters, every recovery journey deserves support, and no family should have to walk that path alone.

🏃 COURSE

Enjoy a scenic four-mile course through the streets of Forty Fort, along the levee, through the historic Forty Fort Cemetery, and back to Betty Mascelli Park for the finish.

Limited parking will be available at Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, along Wyoming Avenue, and on nearby side streets.

Please be respectful of residents, neighboring businesses, and private property when parking.

This event will be held rain or shine.

No refunds will be given. Anyone who registers and is unable to attend will have their registration considered a donation.
