This isn’t your average 5K — it’s a celebration filled with energy, community, and color! Participants will make their way through the course while passing exciting color stations throughout the race, creating a fun and unforgettable experience for runners and walkers of all ages.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, jogging with friends, or walking with family, every step helps carry forward the beautiful legacy of Ava Fellerman — whose kindness, generosity, and love for others continue to inspire everyone who knew her.

Created by Ava’s family to continue her legacy, Ava’s Way supports an annual day of empowerment for local senior girls from Wilkes-Barre Area High School.

This special event provides young women with confidence-building experiences including:

✨ Career panels featuring local women leaders
✨ Conversations about healthy relationships
✨ Self-defense training
✨ Encouragement, resources, and support as they prepare for life after high school

Ava’s Way continues Ava’s spirit by helping others dream big, believe in themselves, and move forward with confidence.

Registrations after 9/1/26 will not include an event shirt.

Additional event shirts will be available during online checkout for $15 each.

September 2 through Race Day:

A $6 processing / timing fee will be added during checkout.

Day-of registration will be available until 8:45 AM using the original registration link and onsite QR code for quick registration.
