Townsville Triathlon Club welcomes you to the 100 Ultra (24 hours) and the 42 Marathon (10 hours, starting midnight Saturday). Both can be completed solo or as a team of 2–4.

- 🔔 At 5 minutes to the hour, a warning bell sounds. Assemble at the start line with your bib secured.
- ⏰ On the hour, the bell tolls. You have 2 minutes to cross the start line — failure = DNF, no exceptions.
- 🏃 Each lap must be completed before the next hour. If you fail to finish or fail to start the next lap, you receive a DNF.
- 🔁 Laps alternate direction: anti-clockwise → clockwise → anti-clockwise… Familiarise yourself with both directions beforehand.
- 📍 There is a mid-lap timing checkpoint at Turtle Bridge (~halfway) to validate each completed lap.
- 👯 Teams (2–4): any team member can run any lap, in any sequence — just ensure someone crosses the start on the hour.
- 🏆 Winners are determined by lowest aggregated time across all completed laps (Ultra & Marathon separately).
- ⚠️ If you DNF, report to Race HQ immediately to officially record your result.
