BillBone La Vuelta Palm Beach

 

Join us on Sunday, November 22, 2026, for BillBone La Vuelta Palm Beachan for an oceanside cycling event, proudly presented by Bill Bone Bike Law, LC Tri Shop Boutique, and Delta Car Trade—champions of our local cycling community. EVENT RIDE OPTIONS

LA VUELTA (60 Miles)

  • Start: 7:00 am sharp
  • Pace: 24 mph+, not to exceed 27 mph until the “open segment”
  • Leaders: BillBone Racing Team; Lead vehicle: Eduardo
  • Escort: 2 FHP units (rolling closure)
  • Rest stop: Spanish River Park – Pavilion #4 (Download 60 MILE)
  • SAG: Delta Car Trade support
  • A-Group Competitive Sprint: From 441 and Yamato Road, the group goes any pace to finish. Sprint is ~17 miles, finish at large feather banner north of Lantana Road. Prizes: $250 (men), $250 (women). Wear your bib on your right side. Top 3 finishers recorded by photo.

Leaving from the Mole Cantina Mexicana in Wellington with a stop at Spanish River Park (34 miles). The pace of this group will be controlled by ride marshals at speeds indicated below. This will have follow support and be led by the Florida Highway Patrol. The rest stop will have Coca-Cola, snacks, and restrooms. Fluids are provided for the return. LA VUELTA (42 Miles)

  • Start: 7:00am
  • Pace: up to 21–22 mph
  • Leader: Leo Contreras (LC Tri-Shop Marshal)
  • Escort: 1 FHP unit
  • Rest stop: Ocean Inlet Park (Download 42 miles Route)
  • SAG: Delta Car Trade support

Leaving from the Mole Cantina Mexicana in Wellington with a stop at Ocean Inlet Park (32 miles). The 18-22MPH pace will be controlled by ride marshals at speeds indicated. This ride will have follow support and be led by the Florida Highway Patrol. The rest stop will have Coca-Cola, snacks, and restrooms. Fluids are provided for the return. Both groups roll out at 7:00 am, ride North a few miles (photo op), and then split at 441 & Southern. LC Tri Shop leads B group; BillBone leads A group.

EVENT SCHEDULE & LOCATION

All rides start and end at the Mole Cantina Mexicana in Wellington. Directions to Mole Cantina Mexicana:  Google Map Directions

7:00 am – Vuelta A Ride (controlled speeds 24+ mph) (60 miles) - Rest stop is Spanish River Park (inside park at Pavillion #4).  Appproximatley 4 miles into the neutral rollout, the A ride will split off from the B ride.  The B ride will have ride marshalls who will control the split along with the Florida Highway Patrol and pace vehicles. 

7:00 am – Vuelta B Ride (controlled speed 18–20 mph) (42 miles) - Rest stop is a Ocean Inlet Park - The rest stop is in the park on the South side located at the pavilion.  

EVENT NUMBER PICK-UP:

LC TriShop Boutique: November 1, 2026 through Friday, November 22, 2026, during store hours. Direction to LC TriShop Boutique   (NO NUMBER PICKUP ON SATURDAY).

Mole Cantina Mexicana: Sunday, November 22, 2026 (Event Day) from 5:45 am to 7:00 am. Please arrive early!

EVENT FEES (NO EVENT DAY REGISTRATION)

Entry Fee: Now until November 15, 2026: $55* (SAVE $15)

Week of Late Fee: November 16, 2026 to November 22, 2026: $65*

*Excludes merchant and processing fees.

CYCLING SAFETY ADVISORY

We are excited to have you join us for this cycling event. Your safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. POTENTIAL HAZARDS

  • Traffic and Public Roads: While the event is escorted by the Florida Highway Patrol, the roads will not be closed to public traffic. Be aware of vehicles at all times, follow traffic signals, and ride in a single file or as directed by the event marshals.
  • Road Conditions: Be prepared for varying road conditions, including potholes, debris, wet surfaces, and uneven pavement. Always keep an eye on the road ahead and signal any hazards to fellow riders.
  • Weather Conditions: Florida weather can be unpredictable. Ensure you are prepared for heat, rain, or sudden changes in weather. Stay hydrated, wear appropriate clothing, and apply sunscreen.
  • Wildlife and Pedestrians: Be cautious of wildlife crossing the roads and pedestrians. Slow down in areas with potential hazards and remain vigilant.
  • Group Riding Dynamics: Riding in a group requires awareness and communication. Maintain a safe distance from other riders, avoid sudden braking or movements, and signal your intentions clearly.

SAFETY MEASURES

  • Helmet Requirement: All participants must wear a properly fitted helmet at all times while riding.
  • Visibility: Wear bright, reflective clothing and use lights on your bike to increase visibility, especially in low-light conditions.
  • Communication: Use hand signals and verbal cues to communicate with other riders. Announce turns, stops, and hazards.
  • Obey Traffic Laws: Follow all traffic laws, signals, and instructions from event marshals and the Florida Highway Patrol.
  • First Aid: Familiarize yourself with the locations of first aid stations and carry a basic first aid kit.
  • Emergency Contact: Ensure you have emergency contact information accessible and a fully charged phone.
