!!! GANZ WICHTIG !!! Der Hund ist der Schrittmacher, d.h. der Rad-/Scooterfahrer bzw.Läufer muss das Tempo dem Hund anpassen. Der vierbeiniger Teampartner MUSS sich IMMER vor dem Bike/Scooter bzw. vor dem Läufer befinden. Der Teilnehmer muss seine Fahrt oder seinen Lauf verlangsamen, falls der Hund das Tempo nicht mehr laufen kann. Das gleiche gilt fürs das Schwimmen, der Hund muss freiwillig ins Wasser gehen! Bei Nichteinhaltung (Stoßen, Ziehen oder Werfen des Hundes) erfolgt die sofortige Disqualifikation!
Es kann natürlich passieren, dass der Hund auf einmal nicht ins Wasser will, in diesem Fall werdet Ihr automatisch in den Duathlon umgemeldet(dies gilt natürlich nur am ersten Tag, während des Rennen ist eine unmeldung nicht mehr möglich)!

Kinderlauf: ca. 600m um den Teich, dieser findet dieses Jahr nur am Samstag ab ca. 14:00 statt, danach gibt es gleich die Siegerehrung!

Mindestalter der Hunde: 15 Monate, ein aufrechter Impfschutz gegen Tollwut muss beim Eintreffen am Wettkampfgelände nachgewiesen werden (Impfpass nicht vergessen)!

Diese Startgebühren inkludieren die Benützung des ausgeschilderten und überwachten Trails, die Zeitnehmung (ausgenommen Happy-Dog-Klasse), eine Erinnerungsurkunde und Trophäen für die Bestplatzierten. Darüber hinaus stellen auch heuer wieder zahlreiche Sponsorfirmen Sachpreise zur Verfügung. Bei Übernachtung am Renngelände (Stakeout) in Zelt, Wohnwagen oder Fahrzeug wird eine Stellplatzgebühr von 5.- pro startendem Team eingehoben.

REGLEMENT: Die Teilnahme ist ausschließlich mit einem Hund jeder beliebigen Rasse und einem Mindestalter von 15 Monaten erlaubt, solange das Tier den physischen und psychischen Anforderungen der Veranstaltung entspricht.

ANMELDUNG: Jeder Teilnehmer, der sich für den „Irondog“-Wettbewerb anmeldet, verpflichtet sich zu folgendem: Das Teilnahmeformular muss inklusive vollständiger Adresse vollständig und korrekt ausgefüllt sein. Der Hund muss durch einen Mikro-Chip und/oder eine Tätowierung identifiziert werden können. Alle geforderten Angaben sind wahrheitsgetreu anzugeben. Der Teilnehmer erklärt dem Veranstalter verbindlich, dass sein Hund bei bester Gesundheit ist und dass alle benötigten Impfungen aktuell sind. Der Impfpass muss auf Verlangen vorgewiesen werden. Den Anweisungen des Veranstalters und seiner Helfer ist Folge zu leisten. Bei einem Zwischen- oder Unfall ist der Halter selbst für seinen Hund verantwortlich. Der veranstaltende Verein oder ein lokaler Organisator kann auf keinen Fall für irgendwelche Probleme mit Dritten verantwortlich gemacht werden. Der Teilnehmer bestätigt, dass er eine Haftpflichtversicherung für seinen Hund abgeschlossen hat. Er verpflichtet sich weiters, seinen Hund während der gesamten Veranstaltung jederzeit angeleint zu führen. Der Teilnehmer versichert, dass er keine unerlaubten, leistungssteigernden Mittel (Doping) zu sich nimmt oder seinem Hund verabreicht. Mit dem Ausfüllen des Teilnahmeformulars bestätigt er außerdem, dass er das Veranstaltungsreglement befolgen wird. Selbst wenn er das Reglement nicht gelesen hat und an der Veranstaltung teilnimmt, akzeptiert er dieses. Bei der Teilnahme am „Irondog“-Wettbewerb übernimmt der Teilnehmer selbst die volle Verantwortung für seine und die Gesundheit seines Hundes. Eventuelle Rettungs- bzw. Bergungskosten sind vom Teilnehmer selbst zu tragen. Ein Teilnehmer, der in diesem Reglement angegebene Vorschriften nicht beachtet, kann (auch ohne Vorwarnung) von der Veranstaltung ausgeschlossen werden, wobei eine bereits einbezahlte Startgebühr nicht zurückerstattet wird.

AUSRÜSTUNG Jeder teilnehmende Hund hat ein passendes Brustgeschirr zu tragen, an welchem die Leine befestigt ist. Die Länge der Leine darf bei ausgezogenem Ruckdämpfer 2,5 Meter nicht überschreiten. Beim Radfahren kann die Leine an der Lenksäule des Rades oder (mittels eines Bauchgurts) am Menschen befestigt sein. Ein seitliches Befestigen der Leine am Rahmen des Fahrrades ist aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht gestattet. Ausroll-Leinen und Würgehalsbänder ohne Zugstopp sind bei der Veranstaltung untersagt. Beim Radfahren besteht Helmpflicht.

ZEITNAHME UND START Gestartet wird einzeln (jeweils ein Mensch-Hund-Team) und im Minutentakt. Die Zeitnehmung erfolgt dieses Jahr elektronisch. Die Bewerbe werden ohne vorgeschriebene Pause (Zeitnehmung läuft auch beim Wechsel von einer Sportart zur nächsten weiter) und in folgender Reihenfolge durchgeführt:

Starterfeld ist limitier auf 100 Reguläre Teams + Kinder + HappyDog

Es sind auch alle herzlichst eingeladen, die die Strecke für reines Training mit Bike/Scooter oder Canicross nutzen wollen. Da schon in kürze die EM in Frankreich stattfinden, kann man sich hier schon ein wenig vorbereiten. In diesem Fall bei der Anmeldung bitte die Happy-Dog-Kategorie auswählen!

VERHALTEN Selbstverständlich haben alle im Bundesland gültigen Tierschutzgesetze eingehalten zu werden. Der Hund darf sich während des Rennens niemals hinter dem Menschen befinden, die gefahrene/geschwommene/gelaufene Geschwindigkeit wird vom Hund vorgegeben. Ein Teilnehmer darf seinen oder einen anderen Hund auf keinen Fall quälen. Wenn ein solcher Vorfall bekannt wird, sei es durch Zeugen, mit Fotos oder durch die Veranstaltungsleitung belegt, hat dies den sofortigen Ausschluss des Teilnehmers zur Folge. Ein Teilnehmer, der überholt wird, muss seinen Hund zu sich nehmen und den Weg freigeben. Der Teilnehmer muss jederzeit dafür sorgen, dass sein Hund weder anderen Tieren noch Menschen Schaden oder Verletzungen zufügt. Jeder Teilnehmer hat während der gesamten Veranstaltung die Regeln sportlicher Fairness und Höflichkeit einzuhalten. Ebenso verhält er sich jederzeit im Sinne des aktiven und passiven Naturschutzes.

AUSHANG Der Veranstalter installiert bei jeder Veranstaltung eine offizielle Aushangtafel mit folgenden Hinweisen: Zeitablauf der Veranstaltung, Reglement, Teilnehmerliste, eventuelle Veränderungen, Ergebnisse (nach dem Eintreffen des letzten Teilnehmers).

REKLAMATIONEN Reklamationen müssen sofort der Veranstaltungsleitung gemeldet werden. Falls sie von offiziellen Aushängen oder der Verkündigung der Resultate abhängig sind, müssen sie bis spätestens 30 Minuten nach Aushang oder Verkündigung eingereicht werden.
Sämtliche männliche Personenbezeichnungen im obigen Text gelten selbstverständlich sinngemäß ebenso in ihrer weiblichen Form.
Übernachtung: Zelt, Wohnwagen oder aber Zimmer im Sonnenhof, dies bitte bei der Anmeldung bekanntgeben!
Teams, die nur trainieren wollen, können am Samstag und Sonntag nach dem Rennen in der Happy-Dog-Klasse ohne Zeitnehmung und Wertung starten.

!!! VERY IMPORTANT !!! The dog is the pacemaker, that means, the bike / scooter driver or runner must adjust his pace to his dog. The four-legged team partner must always be in front of the bike / scooter or before the runner. The participant must take out speed  if the dog can´t run at the higher pace. The same rule is true for swimming, the dog must go willingly into the water! Violation of this rule (pushing, pulling or throwing the dog) will lead to immediate disqualification !
It could of course happen that the dog all of a sudden does not want to go into the water within 60 seconds , in this case, you will be automatically re-registered to the duathlon (this is possible of course only on the first day, during the race re-registration it is no longer possible)!
Kids Run: 600m around the pond, this year this competition takes place only on Saturday from about 14:00, after that the awards ceremony will take place!
Minimum age of the dogs : 15 months, a valid vaccination against rabies must be shown upon arrival to the competition area (don´t forget your vaccination passport ):!

These entry fees include the use of the marked and monitored trails, timekeeping (except Happy-Dog class), a commemorative certificate and trophies for the top finishers. In addition, numerous corporate sponsors will hand out  prizes again this year.
For camping at the race track (Stakeout) in tent, caravan or vehicle a parking fee of 5 € per starting team (doghandlers, family are free) will be charged. Other places to stay:

Registration deadline until 2015/09/01, after which the entry fee increases by ten euros! The entry fee must be transfered until 2015/09/05 on the association account!
Mandatory equipment: headlamp for night running, gloves and helmet for bike / scooterjöring. !!! We recommend at least two pairs of running shoes !!!!
RULES: The competition is only allowed with dogs of any breed with a minimum age of 15 months, as long as the animal meets the physical and mental demands of the event.
REGISTRATION: Each participant who signs up for the "Irondog" competition, is committed to the following: The entry form must be filled in completely and correctly including the full address. The dog must be able to be identified with micro chip and / or tattoo. All required information is truthfully stated. The participant declares to the organizers compulsory that his dog is in good health condition and that all required vaccinations are up to date. The vaccination certificate must be presented upon request. The instructions of the organizer and his helpers have to be obeyed.
On any incident or accident the owner himself is responsible for his dog. Under no circumstances the organizing club or a local organizer can be held responsible for any problems with third parties. The participant confirms that he has concluded a liability insurance for his dog. He further admits that his dog during the whole event will be on leash.

The participant assures that he does not use any illegal, performance-enhancing substances (doping) to himself or his dog. By filling out the entry form, he also confirms that he will follow the event regulations. Even if he has not read the regulations and takes part in the event, he accepts this.

When participating in the "Irondog" competition the participant assumes full responsibility for his own health and his dog´s health. Any rescue and recovery costs shall be borne by the participant.
A participant who does not respect these regulations specified in  the race rules, can be (and without warning) excluded from the event, with no refunding of already paid entry fees.
EQUIPMENT Each participating dog must wear a suitable harness, on which the rope is attached. The length of the leash with pulled-out shock absorber must not exceed 2.5 meters. When cycling the leash may be attached to the steering column or connected to the human with a running belt. Attaching a leash at the side of the frame of the bicycle is not permitted for safety reasons.
Flexi (rolling) leashes and choke chains without choke-stop are prohibited at the event.
For cycling a helmet is compulsory.
TIMING AND START it will be started individually (one human-dog team at once) and by ONE minute. The race is time-measured electronically this year.
The competitions are performed without pause (timekeeping runs even when changing from one sport to the next one) and performed in the following order:

The Number of Starters are limited to 100 regular teams + children + HappyDog

All are sincerely invited, who wish to use the track for pure training with Bike / Scooter or canicross. As the European Championships in Scotland will be held soon, you can prepare yourself here first. In this case, when registering please choose the Happy-Dog-category!
BEHAVIOUR All laws valid in this state and region  for animal welfare have to be complied .
The dog is never allowed to run behind the contestant during the race, the swimming/cycling/running pace  is set by the dog. A competitor may never torment his or another dog in any way. If such an incident is known, either by witnesses, filled with photos or by the Organizing Committee, this will result in the immediate exclusion of the participant of the whole event. A competitor who is overtaken must take his dog close to him and give trail to the passing person. The participant shall at all times ensure that his dog never causes harm or injury to other animals or humans.
Each participant must hold to the rules of sporting fairness and politness throughout the whole event. Likewise, he behaves at any time within the meaning of active and passive conservation of nature.

NOTICE BOARD The organizers installed at each event an official notice board with the following instructions: timing of the event, regulations, list of participants, possible changes, results (after the arrival of the last participant).
COMPLAINTS Complaints must be reported immediately to the event management. If they are connected to official notice boards or the proclamation of the results, they must be submitted no
later than 30 minutes after the posting or announcement.
All males names in the text above are applicable meant in its feminine form as well.
Camping: tent, caravan or room in Sonnenhof, please announce your choice when registering!
Teams that only want to practice, can start without timekeeping and results on Saturday and Sunday after the race of the Happy-Dog class ends.
