Pohutukawa Coast Bike Club, Jafakids MTB Academy, Totara Park MTB Club and Auckland Downhill Club (under the Auckland Mountain Biking Collab) have come together to deliver an XC series for Auckland youth aged 11 to 19.

Building on the success of the recent Funduro series, we are hoping to see increased participation across all age groups. Riders can choose to enter as many races as they wish with overall placings calculated on your best four races.

This series will follow a similar format to last year, with a renewed focus on providing technical challenges for older age groups, while ensuring a fun and supportive environment to junior riders starting out.

Race 1 - Maraetai (Hosted by PCBC) - Sunday 10 May 2026

Race 2 - Slater Road (Hosted by Jafakids) - Sunday 24 May 2026

Race 3 - Totara Park (Hosted by Totara Park MTB Club) - Sunday 28 June 2026

Race 4 - Totara Park (Hosted by Totara Park MTB Club) - Sunday 16 August 2026

Race 5 - Sanders Reserve (Hosted by AKDH) - Sunday 6 September 2026

Participants enter all races individually.

At each race, riders will receive podium placings and awards under their respective classifications

• College Sport Classification
• General Classification

While all secondary school riders participate under College Sport, Intermediate School riders can be associated with either depending if they are integrated with an affiliate College.

At the completion of each race, points will be calculated on overal times within each age group (irrespective of classification) and published to a series leaderboard after the first race.
