Sport Integrity Reminder

A reminder this is a National/State level AusCycling event. Sport Integrity Australia can conduct anti-doping testing at any event or competition. It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of your obligations and have completed clean sport education.

All riders over 13 are strongly encouraged to complete Anti-Doping Fundamentals and the Annual Update online courses through the Sport Integrity Australia eLearning page: Sport Integrity Australia eLearning: Log in to the site.  It is recommended you also download the Sport Integrity app which can assist you to check medications, supplements and complete your education.

Introduction

Balmoral Cycling Club presents the 2nd Round of the 2026 AusCycling Queensland Cyclocross State Series at Albert Bishop Park, Nundah. Racing for all levels from Balance Bikes to A grade. Don't have a cyclocross or gravel bike? Grab whatever you have and come and race Opens. Age groups are as 2026 ages. Course opens at 10:00am with racing from 11:00am to 3:15pm (schedule below).


Age Categories & Eligibility

  • Little Crossers & U11s Girls & Boys
  • U13 Girls & Boys
  • U15, U17 Girls & Boys
  • Women - Open, A, B & C Grades
  • Men - Open, A, B & C Grades

For Junior categories, and C and B grades any suitable bike may be used, and there is no restriction for tyres. A mountain bikes, gravel, or cyclocross bike is recommended.
For A grade men and women, riders must use a drop bar bike, with tyres no greater than 35mm.

Riders need to have a current AusCycling racing license (Off road OR All Discipline) to race. Never raced before? No problem! – you can get a day license to race (this includes Juniors).

• Senior men’s and women’s grades (U19+): $20
• Juniors (U17 & Below): $10

Refund Policy

Entry Refund:
Any rider who wishes to receive a refund before Thursday the 31st of April may do so by scratching themselves via their EntryBoss account. Any rider seeking a refund after Thursday the 31st of April must submit a doctor's certificate to AusCycling. All refund requests should be sent to olivia.forrest@auscycling.org.au. Refunds will be processed in line with the AusCycling Refund Policy
