The Gate Gallop is a community running event that helps to raise money for St Giles Hospice. It has been running for over 25 years raising an amazing £100,000.

There are two trail races on the day, with a 5km and 10km. The 10km is one of the Burton & District Summer League races.

The race HQ is at Anker Valley Sports Complex in Tamworth, where there will be music and community stalls.

All 10 km finishers will again receive a plantable “seeded” medal and there are prizes to the winners.
