2026 Auckland Schools Downhill Championships
|
This annual race is hosted by the Auckland Downhill Club at Dome Valley, Warkworth. The race line, Ridgeline DH Track, is a Grade 5 downhill trail. It’s fast and technical without being overly extreme, featuring gap jumps (with rollable B-lines), drops, and chutes with some challenging obstacles. Due to the speed and technical features of the track, riders entering downhill events for the first time are highly recommended to attend the club’s summer shuttle days. The club will also run an official practice day the Sunday before race day — see below for further details. Shuttle days are listed on the AKDH website and can be booked via the club’s membership portal. A current AKDH annual membership is required to participate. |
