Dear Runners,

The Aruba Athletic Federation (AAF) is excited to invite you to the first edition of the AAF 5K National Road Race, taking place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 6:00 a.m.

This landmark event will start on Stadionweg, in front of the UNOCA building, and finish on Stadionweg at house address number 7. Whether you are a competitive athlete or a recreational runner, this race promises an energetic and memorable experience.

Both AAF members and non-members are warmly invited to be part of this exciting national road race. Come challenge yourself, celebrate athletics, and be part of history at the inaugural AAF 5K!

Race Categories

Participants will compete in the following categories:

• U17 Category (Boys & Girls)  Ages 15 - 16 

• U20 Category (Men & Women): Ages 17 –19

• Senior Category (Men & Women): Ages 20–34

• Master Category (Men & Women): Ages 35 -39, 40 -44, 45 -49 & 50 +

Awards

Awards goes to the top 3 of each category and top 3 overall winners

Applicable Rules and Regulations

The race will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations of World Athletics.

Payment Information

Entry fee can be paid via:

• Bank transfer (RBC Aruba  Atletiek Bond 31.31.20.38)

Your registration includes:

• Bib number & timing chip
• Fluids and nutrition
• Official  time registration

Route Description

The race will start on Stadionweg, in front of the UNOCA building, and finish on Stadionweg at house address number 7. The route will be clearly marked, and traffic control will be in place to ensure the safety of all participants.
