The thrill of the BMA River 2 Reef Ride Festival is back in Mackay, and we're turning up the excitement in 2026! Mark your calendars for the most epic ride of the year. 

Get ready for a kaleidoscope of fun at the Golding Kids Colour Ride on Saturday 15 August.

Let your little riders ages 3 to 12 years splash through bursts of colour as they pedal their way to joy.

Gear up for the main event – the BMA River 2 Reef Ride on Sunday 16 August.

Choose your distance and join fellow riders, big and little, as we conquer scenic routes, challenging terrains, and create a tidal wave of cycling enthusiasm!

In 2026 the BMA River 2 Reef Ride is "Riding for Community". We are giving over $35,000 to our local Community Organisations. If your club or community group has chosen to be a part of this year's event be sure to link your registration to them - $5 from your rego fee will go straght back to your club! Bonus time, purchase this year's winning Youth Design Cycle Jersey and another $5 will go to the organisation linked to your registration*.
