The idea was born in peace and quiet around the campfire: a 24-hour run on the Reichenau, the well-known vegetable island in Lake Constance, that would be something! The idea was followed by considerations and, finally, the first organizational steps. Now it stands - and the first edition of 2021 was a complete success: an event that invites hobby runners as well as ambitious athletes to enjoy running for a whole day and experience excitement! From 13 to 14 June 2026, join us on the 3.3-kilometre-long, varied running circuit around the Hochwart. The start will be held on 13 June 2026 at 12 noon with the first runner of the relay or as a single starter. The goal is to complete as many laps as possible within the following 24 hours until 12 noon on the following day, June 14, 2026. Only all complete rounds count here. In the event of a tie, the team wins with the faster individual round. All other evaluations can be viewed in the tender.

Each team is assigned an area on the event area in advance, where tents, pavilion, etc. can then be set up. Motorhomes or similar must be parked in the car park a few metres away. It is to be an event by athletes for athletes, which will integrate the entire region and beyond. We are very much looking forward to the fifth 24-hour race in June 2026!
