WELCOME TO THE ONLINE ENTRY FOR THE SOUTH SHIELDS HARRIERS & ATHLETICS CLUB SAND DANCER RACE SERIES 2026

10.15AM - 10 May 2026

• Minor race 2-11 years begins at 10.15am 

• Junior race 12 years and over starts 10.30am 

• Senior 10km (ish) race begins at 11am 16 years old and over 

• All race numbers are collected on the day from Gypsies Green Stadium, (NE33 2JH) from 9.00am. 

• The race begins outside the Sand Dancer pub on the promenade 1 min walk from Gypsies Green Stadium. 

• On the day registrations (subject to availability) are available from Gypsies Green from 9am until 10am. £5 minor/junior race, £23 affiliated runner, and £25 unaffiliated runner for 10km senior race.

• Transfers of numbers allowed in the 10km race up until Thursday 8th May, full details contained in your entry confirmation

• Parking is available at South Promenade Car Park (NE33 3NB) next to the Sand Dancer pub; pay and display, and PaybyPhone app available. 

• All runners of all races will receive a medal, a running buff and refreshments. 

• There will be cash prizes for age category winners along with 1st, 2nd and 3rd for the 10km (ish) multi-terrain race only. 

• In accordance with UK Athletics Rules headphones are NOT permitted, wearers will be asked to remove them, failure to do so will result in disqualification. Bone conducting devices are permitted.
• No refunds or deferrals in the event of either an entrant being unable to participate or the event is cancelled.
