5K $40 through 3/20, $45 race day ($3 USATF discount)

RACE LOCATION

The race starts and finishes at Princeton Middle School, 151 Moore Street, Princeton, NJ 
 

EVENT DAY SCHEDULE

7:00 AM: Packet pickup opens @ Princeton High School Performing Arts Center PARKING LOT located on Walnut Lane across from the intersection with Franklin Avenue. 

8:15 AM: Registration Closes (Day of regstration available, online only, no cash or checks will be accepted!)

8:30 AM: 5K Starts 

9:30 AM: Kids Dash

Awards cermeony TBD. 
 

RACE SHIRTS 

Participants registered before 3/1 are guaranteed a race shirt. After 3/1, participants can select a shirt while supplies last. 


PACKET PICKUP

Friday, March 20th, 12 to 7 PM @  FLEET FEET - PRINCETON RUNNING COMPANY (108 Nassau Street)

Saturday, March 21st, 7 to 8:15 AM @ Princeton High School Performing Arts Center Parking Lot. 

 

WALKERS WELCOME

Yes, this event is absolutely walker friendly.  We do require that participants walk a 15 minute mile though so that we can open the bypass an hour after starting the race. This would equate to 46:36 5K.


PARKING

FREE parking is available at Princeton High School.  Park in front of the school or use the main parking lot on the corner of Walnut Lane and Houghton Street. 

FREE parking is also available at Princeton Middle School in the corner lot, Walnut Lane and Guyot Avenue, or behind the school off of Guyot Ave.

NO PARKING is allowed in the Westminster Choir College parking lots or in the Christ Congregation Church lot (across from Princeton High School).

Please be mindful that the Princeton Police Department will close roads along the race course at 8:00 am.

 

BATHROOMS

 

BAG CHECK

Due to the parking in close proximity, there is no bag check. 


WATER STOP

There will be one water stop on the course. Participants are always encouraged to carry their own water in a reusable bottle to help us reduce the environmental impact of the event.

AWARDS

Awards are given as follows:

In three divisions (Male, Female and Non-binary), Overall Awards will be distributed to 1st and 2nd places.

Age Group awards will be distributed to 1st and 2nd places in Male and Female divisions.

Age groups are:  <14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70+

1st Place, Boy and Girl, PHS XC or T&F athlete

1st Place, Boy and Girl, PMS athlete

Trophy for the Princton school with the most participants (student + teachers)

Awards for top combined team of Mother/Daughter, Mother/Son, Father/Daughter and Father/Son.

DOGS & STROLLERS

As a USATF sanctioned Grand Prix event, dogs on leashes and strollers are not permitted in the race. 

 

RACE TIPS

  • Line up at the start according to your predicted pace per mile. Runners in the front who are not a sub 6:00 min/mile runner may slow the start of the race and be a hazard. Walkers please line up behind runners. 
  • If you must stop during the race, please move to the side of the road to avoid accidents or tripping.
  • At the water stop, please move to the side if you are stopping.
  • If you need medical attention, ask any course marshal to call 911.
