After consulting with the Borough of Seaside Heights we have made the decision to postpone and reschedule the SKWC Boardwalk 5k Super Bowl Sunday from Super Bowl Sunday to Sunday, April 12, 2026.

We tried everything we could but the boardwalk is still covered with ice.

With forecasted wind chills expected to be below zero, we do not feel these conditions would be safe or enjoyable for our runners, walkers, pups, volunteers, or staff. The boardwalk is completely frozen over as well. As always, the safety of our community comes first.

Please help support Rutgers Wrestling with our 5k fundraiser on Super Bowl Sunday. These funds will go directly back to our club the SKWC to help with supplemental funds for Rutgers Wrestling.

Date: 4/12/26 Super Bowl Sunday

Location: Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751

Check-In: 8:00am-9:30am Inside Beachcomber

Race Start: 10am (1mile fun run), 10:30 (5k run)

Parking: Free During Winter Months

Cost: $45 Dollars Until (1/31/2026), $50 the week after 1/31/2026. Every registration comes with a free shirt.

Divisions:

1mile Fun Run/Walk, 5k Open Run/Walk (placement based on age)

Age Divisions

The “Open Run/Walk” is for anyone looking to run the 5k race or walk. Placement in this division will be based on age.

10 and under
11 to 13 years old
14 to 16 years old
17 to 19 years old
20 to 30 years old
31 to 40 years old
41 to 50 years old
51 to 60 years old
61 to 70 years old
70 and over

The “Fun Run/Walk” is for younger ages or those just looking to for a shorter course. Placement in this division will be based on age.

6 & under
7-8 years old
9-10 years old
11-12 years old

Course:

Start: Beachcomber, 100 Ocean Terrace.

Race Start: 10am (1mile fun run), 10:30 (5k run)

It is a 3 loop course. You will need to go through the finish arch all 3 laps. At the end of the 3rd lap, you are finished

Course map. Please Note: When heading North from first turn at Sawmill, please stay on the east side (towards ocean) and stay on that side of the boardwalk. Do not go anywhere near the start/finish arch except when you are completing each 1.03 laps. Splits will be available live here
