Monster MTB Challenge

The Generation Homes Monster MTB Challenge is a fun mountain biking event, for children aged up to 13 years old (must not be above school year 8 at time of event). It is run by the St Patrick's Catholic School PTFA in conjunction with Bike Taupo

SATURDAY 17th MAY - TIMELINE FOR THE DAY

8.00am – 9.30am Registration open at Craters MTB Park Car Park

9.30am Race briefing

9:45am Contact Energy Mega Monster Start

10:00am Monster Classic Start

10:15am LM Party Planning &Events Mini Monster Start

11:30am Total Sport Micro Monster Mash Start

Prize giving as soon as last rider completed course (Approx. 12 noon)

This event is designed to provide a fun, semi competitive event for children of any biking ability to experience the awesome sport of mountain biking. Every finisher gets a medal, There are trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd boy and girl in each of the three timed courses, and there are a HEAP of spot prizes! Our Micro Monster Mashers all receive a medal. It all takes place at Craters Mountain Bike Park, Taupo.

Entry fee for the three timed events (Mini Monster, Monster Classic and Mega Monster) is $35 until 30 April and then $40 from 1st May until Thursday 15 May at 9pm when online entries close. Entries are taken on event morning from 8.00am - 9.30am and will be $40. Entry fee for the Total Sport Micro Monster Mash is $15 at any time.
