DM Triathlon Series 2025 Elite

Elite triathletes have the opportunity to participate in a series of Danish events at a high sporting and technical level in the DM Triathlon Series 2025 Elite.

Valid for 2025
The DM Triathlon Series 2025 Elite consists of the following five events, three of which are independent DM events, in addition to being part of the DM series.

Registration as described below is valid until March 1, 2025.

1st Event - DM Duathlon Elite
Date: April 13
Location: Rødekro
Format & Distance: DM Duathlon, 5 km run, 20 km cycling, 2.5 km run Prize Money: DKK 10,000 in total for M/F.

2nd Event – Draft Triathlon
Date: May 3
Location: Ganløse
Format & Distance: Draft triathlon, 750 m swim – 20 km cycling – 5 km run Prize Money: DKK 6,000 in total for M+F.

3rd Event – DM SuperSprint
Date: May 10
Location: Ringe
Format & Distance: DM SuperSprint, 400 m swim -10 km cycling - 2.5 km run Prize Money: DKK 10,000 in total for M+F. Note, DM Mixed Relay with an independent elite class is held on the same day.

4th Event – Standard non-draft
Date: August 24
Location: Silkeborg
Format & Distance: Standard non-draft, 1500 m swim - 45 km cycling -10.5 km run, time trial bikes may be used. Prize Money: DKK 20,000 in total for M/F. Held as part of DM Classic in Silkeborg.

5th Event – DM Sprint Finale event in the DM Triathlon Series 2025 Elite
Date: September 13
Location: Aarhus
Format & Distance: DM Sprint, 750 m swim, 20 km cycling, 5 km run. The official DM in Sprint is also the finale of the Nordic Cup 2025. Prize Money: DKK 10,000 in total for M/F.

Prize Money for the Series
The total prize money for the entire DM Triathlon Series 2025 Elite is DKK 20,000 for M/F. The three best results count in the overall result for the entire DM series. In case of a tie, the placement at the finale event in Aarhus determines the final ranking. Top-3 men and top-3 women receive the same amount in prize money. The distribution of prize money per gender is determined by the total number of starts per gender, in the entire series.

DM Medal Distribution Elite (M/F) Individually
DM Triathlon Series 2025 Elite has the following distribution of medals:

• Elite Junior – medal sets based on overall results in the series – one for women and one for men.
• Elite U23 – medal sets for the overall result – one for women and one for men.
• Elite Overall – medal sets for the overall result – one for women and one for men.
• Elite Overall – DIF medal sets – one for women and one for men.

DM Medal Distribution Elite (M/F) Teams

• Elite Teams – Federation medal sets gold-silver-bronze, – one for women and one for men, based on the day's results at the finale event in Aarhus.
• Elite teams – DIF medal sets – one for women and one for men, based on the day's results at the finale event in Aarhus.

Division of Heats
Seeding in the 1st event in 2025 is based on results from 2024, and thereafter seeded based on placement in the series. It is possible that the event execution will be with a mass start for all elite athletes M/F.
