Langt og Lenge LIVE is an online community to show and follow GPS tracking of training, trips, and expeditions.

We believe this will be both fun and inspiring, for example when training for a common goal such as the Oslo Bergen Trail or other demanding races.

We want the system to provide secure GPS tracking in areas with poor or no mobile service. For this reason, use is currently limited to GPS devices of the Garmin inReach type, but we hope to be able to include other types/brands later.

Prerequisites to share your own GPS tracking

• You need a membership in Langt og Lenge LIVE
• Own/dispose of a Garmin inReach device
• The device must have a professional subscription with Garmin, as this is a requirement to allow data be sent between the web servers of Garmin and Langt og Lenge

The price for a professional subscription to Garmin inReach is comparable to the price for a consumer subscription. Garmin has a recipe on how to convert the subscription: Garmin Support Center
