Ringkøbing Fjord Summer Edition 2024

Ringkøbing Fjord is the classic ultra running event in West Jutland, which this summer will be held for the 8th time.

The route offers a varied journey through beautiful and characteristic West Jutland landscapes, where Skjern Enge and Holmsland Klit must be highlighted. The race route is well-stocked with aid stations, which help you well on your way, whether you are an experienced or debuting ultra runner, marathon or half marathon runner.

Choose between 100km or 60km on 24 August 2024

100 km additionally includes
     Breakfast from 6:30 on race day
     Possibility of drop bags at 50 and 75 km in Nymindegab and Hvide Sande

     Shuttle bus from Vesterhavshallen to the starting area Bork Havn
     Possibility of drop bags at 35 km in Hvide Sande

Registration deadline

     No later than July 28 or as long as there are available spots.

Route marking
The route follows the two permanently marked cycle routes "Fjorden Rundt" (0-50km) and "Vestkyrouten" (50-89km). The last 11 km to the finish as well as selected places on the route will be marked with wire flags. The route is also made available as a gpx file.

Cut-offs
The race is spacious and offers room for runners of many levels. The time limit for all distances is 22:30.
For 100km there is a cut-off at the 50km mark (Aid station Nymindegab) at 14:00 and another cut-off at the 75km mark (Aid station Kunst & Keramik) at 18:30.

Finish area
All distances finish at Ringkøbing Atletikstadion.

To participate in the Ringkøbing Fjord Round Ultra Run, you must be 18 years old. Registration is binding. Entry fee is non-refundable and entry number cannot be transferred to other races. The participant accepts that photo and video material recorded in connection with the event may be published and used for marketing purposes.
