Join Us for the JCB and P.H.R. Ken Micronesia Tomodachi Run & Walk!

The Japanese School of Guam is delighted to host the JCB and P.H.R. Ken Micronesia Tomodachi Run & Walk on January 12, 2024, and we warmly invite everyone to join this exciting community event. With 1K, 2K, and 5K categories available, participants of all ages and fitness levels can enjoy a morning of fun and friendship.

This year we are excited to announce a new venue at the University of Guam (UOG) in Mangilao. The 5K will begin at 6:00 a.m. with the 2K following shortly after. The 1K will start at 7:00 a.m. so that parents participating in the 5K/2K can run another 1K with their kids.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the village of Mangilao and the neighboring communities for their ongoing support and hospitality, which have made events like this possible. A special thanks also goes to our generous sponsors, whose contributions ensure the success of this event and help strengthen the bonds within our community.

Finally, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who supports The Japanese School of Guam — from students and families to alumni and friends. As a token of our gratitude, all participants in this event will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a round-trip ticket to Tokyo, Japan!
