Misericordia University Cross Country / Track and Field Mile Series

The Misericordia 1-Mile Track Race Series is a series of three 1-mile races being held at Misericordia University and in Laurel Run.

Race 1, July 17th @ 6:30pm, will be held on the Misericordia Mangelsdorf Track under the lights. Cost: Early registration to 7/15/24- $20, Same Day Registration - $25. Participants will be separated into heats. This race will be followed by Kids 400m & Kids 800m races. Age restriction for kids run will be 15 & under day of race. Race 3, August 14th @ 6:30, Valley Running Company Uphill Mile, will be held on Giants Dispair Hillclimb Course. Cost: Early registration to 8/12/24- $30, Same Day Registration - $35. See map below for cours and check-in locations. Location: Lot across from 854 E. Northampton St. Wilkes-Barre Twp., PA 18702. Roughly a quarter mile past Breaker Brewing Co.

• Age group awards will be given out for the Overall Series Times & Race 3.
• Series Awards: Overall Top Male & Female - $100 / 2nd Male & Female - $50 Gift Card to Valley Running Company / 3rd Male & Female - $25 Gift Card to Valley Running Company.
• Race 3 Uphill Mile: Overall Top Male & Female - $75 Gift Card to Valley Running Company / 2nd Male & Female - $50 Gift Card to Valley Running Company / 3rd Male & Female - $25 Gift Card to Valley Running Company.

Day of Registration & Check-in begins at 5:15pm. Early registration can pay by credit card or Paypal. Same day registrations can pay by credit card, Paypal, Cash & Check. Day of Race registration will be available via on-site qr code.

Register Early for all three for discounted price of $55. You must register for each race individually. On third race registration, use code "ALLTHREE55" for your discount. If registering Same day for race 1, cost will be $60 for all three. Signing up for the 3 race series gets you a ticket for a free beer and food @ Breaker Brewing Co. Buffet will include Pizza, Build Your Own Hot Dog Bar, & Salad Bar. You will also get a $5 beverage token for the afterparty at Breaker Brewing.

Runners who compete in two of the three races will be considered for overall awards and age group awards. Those who competed in all 3 will be awarded any award before those who only competed in only 2 races.

A $4 processing/timing fee will be added to each registration at checkout. No refunds will be given. If you are unable to attend, your payment will be looked at as a donation.

Money raised will benefit Misericordia Track & Field & Cross country teams.
