AMBC XC Event – Slater Road (South Head), Sunday 7 April 2024

[Private farm – no riding before the event]

This farm was used years ago by Auckland Schools Mountain Biking and Auckland Mountain Bike Club events.

It is similar to Woodhill in that it is amongst Pine Forest, BUT it offers much more in variety of terrain and trails, from open flowing Enduro like down trails, gravel road, flat paddock areas, and narrow single track, etc.

This event is open to students AND adults – a chance for the kids to race the adults and vice versa (in different age categories). There will be a E-Bike class.

You can ride competitively, or at the ‘challenge’ level – a more leisurely paced social ride on trails you would rarely get to use.
