Welcome to the Mossley 10K 2024

This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Mossley 10K Run! 

From our first year in 2014, the race has steadily grown into a fantastic annual event, popular with experienced club competitors and fun runners equally. 

The race starts and finishes at Mossley AFC's Seel Park ground, with ‘Grandstand Views’ for spectators, and is an undulating and picturesque course which takes runners from Upper Mossley, around Lower Mossley and Greenfield with beautiful views of the stunning, countryside around Mossley and Saddleworth.

*To qualify for the cheaper entry fee, you MUST be a registered member of a running club affiliated to UK Athletics.This is for insurance purposes - membership of other 'clubs' or groups (e.g. a gym or fitness center) does not count. If you enter as to affiliated runner, please indicate your club and UKA Registration Number on the entry.

Welcome to the Mossley 10K - We hope to attract a good mix of club-class competitors, social runners and charity fundraisers.

The challenging course takes in the undulating roads around Mossley and Saddleworth with a 'Grandstand Finish' at the Mossley AFC's, Seel Park ground.

All finishers will receive Mossley 10K official medal and ‘goodie bag’.

A range of trophies are also presented to winning competitors in the main (open age) race and 'Over 45, 55 & 60's' categories, for both men & women.  The presentations will take place after the race in the clubhouse.

The course has been accurately measured to 10 kilometres (6:21 miles), and the use of CHIP TIMING records accurate results for all runners, though finishing positions for trophies are decided on gun-time.

No matter what your running experience may be, the Mossley 10K is the race for you!

Ideal for both experienced club runners, social runners and those perhaps looking for a (first) 'proper' race to enter.

To avoid disappointment, it is recommended you book your place early.

Perhaps even discover Mossley AFC from a football perspective and come back to watch the Lilywhites next season at our picturesque ground.
