NEW IBERIA SPANISH FESTIVAL IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE RETURN OF THE RUNNING OF THE BULLS RACE

ON SATURDAY, APRIL 20TH FOR THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY FESTIVAL!

NEW COURSE ROUTE:

Starting at the gazebo in Bouligny Plaza, our new course takes runners along the Bayou Teche along the newly paved Front Street, followed by a full loop of the City Park Circle. Racers then make their way back downtown across Bridge Street with a perfect view of the beautiful crochet ceiling down Church Alley. The race continues down and back on historic Main Street, passing popular landmarks including the Sliman Theatre and The Shadows Plantation Home. The course concludes with a flat, straight sprint to the finish through downtown New Iberia and ends at the festival grounds in Bouligny Plaza.

RACE DAY CHECK- IN/REGISTRATION 7:00am - 7:30am 

5K & 1 MILE - RACE STARTS @ 8:00AM

AWARDS CEREMONY @ 9:30AM | FESTIVAL STAGE- STEAMBOAT PAVILION

5K Race: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place Male/Female will receive a CUSTOM BULL medal for each age group

1 Mile: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medals 15 and olderMale and Female

1 Mile: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medals 14 and under Male and Female

1^st Dog to cross the finish line for 5K and 1 Mile will receive a "Running of the Bulls…Dogs” medal

All FINISHERS will receive an official Running of the Bulls Finisher’s T-Shirt 

**T-Shirts are not guaranteed if registered after FRIDAY, APRIL 5, 2024 

No refunds. The race will take place rain or shine, however for safety reasons course or start time may be altered.
