Hronský Vodácky Marathon - For the prize of Olympian Marián Havlíček

Place: river Hron, Nemecká – Šalková – Zvolen, WW2

Start:

A/ 10:00 a.m., Nemecká (camp Dronte), 48 km

mandatory transfer in Šalková with refreshments

B/ 11:00 a.m., Šalková (under the dam), 26 km

Finish:

Zvolen, at the bridge over the river Hron (entrance to the city) for all categories

Categories:

track A: K1, K1sea, K2, C1, C2

track B: K1, K1sea, K2, C1, C2, SUP, RAFT

men, women - born in 2008 and older (a detailed list of categories will be in the electronic registration form)

Mandatry for each applicant:

life jackets and helmets are mandatory, they must be worn properly throughout the whole course

Schedule: Saturday 08.06.2024:

09:30 meeting and handing out competition numbers, camp Dronte, Nemecká, track A - 48km

10:00 a.m. mass start of all HVM categories, track A

10:30 meeting and handing out competition numbers, Šalková, track B – 26km

11:00 a.m. mass start of all HVM categories, track B

15 min. after reaching the destination in Zvolen, return of competition numbers

30 min. after the finish, final results of the marathon in Zvolen

refreshments after reaching the finish

Pickup:

if necessary, transportation of boats and people from the finish to the Dronte camp is provided

Boat rental option:

in Camp Dronte it is possible to rent a tourist canoe Vydra or a raft with accessories

Accommodation:

the possibility of accommodation in a tourist hostel or own tents in the Dronte camp
