Course Marshals / Volunteers
The County extends thanks to St Albans Striders who are hosting the Championships. Their commitment is immense and makes great demands on Club resources so additional volunteers are required to enable the event to take place.
All Clubs entering Teams must provide at least two volunteers on race day who are prepared to act as Course Marshals, providing cover from 10-30 a.m. to end of last race (apx. 2.30 p.m.)
If your Club wishes to provide four marshals the assigned roles can be split into two shifts, namely Shift 1 – 10-30 am to 12-15 p.m. – Shift 2, 12 noon to end of last race. If using the split shift option, it is necessary to indicate names and contact details for each shift member.
Details of each volunteer to be notified to the St Albans Striders Volunteer Manager not less than 7 days prior to the event to enable duties to be allocated and a WhatsApp group to be established for communication on the day.
These details to be sent to marshals@stalbansstriders.com.
