The course has an initial loop of approximately 2.5 miles before starting the larger circuit. This is a totally rural course, run on a mixture of B class roads and quiet country lanes which are single track. If traffic is met on these lanes runners should give way. Runners need to be aware that apart from the start area, the roads will not be closed to traffic. Runners will be required to run on the left hand side of the road at all times unless directred to do otherwise by a race official. No Marshal has any authority to stop the flow of traffic. All runners should therefore be aware of their own responsibility to stop at any junction in any dangerous situation.
Runners will assemble in the warm up area by 10:45am and 10:53am at the latest. The race will start promptly at 11:00am.
First Aid Medics will be present for those requiring medical attention. If you see anyone in distress during the race, please advise a race marshal as soon as possible to call for medical assistance.
The warm up area is the road off Brettenham Road in front of Buxhall Church.
Use of audio headphones whilst competing in our race is strictly prohibited due to traffic safety reasons. Those spotted by a marshal will be disqualified.
A copy of the risk assessment will be available on the race notice board.
