Kiwanis Club of Providence - Montego Bay Breast Cancer Virtual Run/Walk/Bike/Wheelchair
The Kiwanis Club of Providence- Montego Bay is a service organization dedicated to serving the children of the world one child, one community at a time. Our focus is the community is the Parish of St. James and its immediate environs. Each year we carry out numerous projects geared towards meeting this mandate. Over the years we have made significant contributions to the Jamaica Cancer Society, local breast cancer survivors, and more recently, the Pediatric and Oncology Wards at the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
Recognizing that COVID-19 will be with us for a while, the Kiwanis Club of Providence-Montego Bay decided to give online coverage to our annual run/walk - to which we added a bike ride. This is a first for the event that is celebrating its 12th year. We are still excited, as this will bring us global outreach and support from Kiwanis International, the Jamaican diaspora, and other service clubs across the country and the world at large.
