9/11 Memorial Run

The 9/11 Memorial Run is a group run to honor the people lost on 9/11/01.

Each year we honor a local hero and donate to the charity of their choosing. This year will be in honor of Specialist Clayton Hill served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and donating to T.A.P.S Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.Additional donations can be made at taps.org/donate.

This is a non-timed group run with a rolling aid station. Our goal is to start together and finish together.

Will start in the parking lot of Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field @ 208 Olympic Drive, Jonesboro Arkansas.

Rolling Aid Station

Course support by the Jonesboro Police, and the local community.

How do I register?

You must register online

Can I register on run day?

Yes

Can I pick up a packet for a friend of family member?

Yes

Where do we pick up our packets?

At the event, packet pickup begins at 6:15AM until 6:45 am

Am I guaranteed a race shirt?

All pre registered participants signed up by the shirt deadline listed above are guaranteed the race shirt size they requested during the registration process. Late sign ups are not guaranteed the shirt size of their choice, shirts will be given on a first come first serve basis. We will do our best to get everyone the shirt size they want.

What type of shirts are being given?

The shirt will be a unisex t shirt. Please order accordingly.

Will I be able to change my shirt size?

You will not be able to exchange your shirt until after the race. We will have an area for shirt exchange after the race for those wishing to exchange their shirts. You will be given the shirt size you ordered during registration, sorry but no exceptions.

How can I get a race shirt if I do not want to participate?

You may register as a Virtual runner to receive a race shirt. You do not have to compete if you do not wish to do so. You may pick up your shirt at any of the packet pick up locations.

What will we receive at packet pick up?

You will receive your race shirt.

What type of timing is being used?

This is a non competitive run, there will not be any official timing or results.

What time does the race start?

7:00 am

What if it is raining/snowing on race morning?

The race will happen rain, snow or shine

When should I arrive?

Most runners plan to arrive at an event 1 hour prior to race start time. If you have not picked up your packet at a packet pick up, please arrive at least 1 hour in advance of race start.

Where do I park?

There is ample parking at Tomlinson stadium-kell field

When are the awards?

Again, this is a not competitive run and there will be not awards.
