Join us at this wonderful beach with your family and friends where you can participate by swimming in a range of swim distances. 

Competition distances are 3km (3000m), 1.5km (1500m), 750m, 375m and especially for the little ones we are offering the 200m splash and dash.

CUT OFF TIME for the 3000m (3km) swim - any swimmer failing to complete the first lap of the course inside 30 minutes will be stopped from starting lap 2 and then within the hour for completing lap 2 to be eligible to start lap 3. This timing is in place for the safety of all participants.

The Open Water Swim competition will start at 7:00 am. 

The anticipated start times are:

3,000m at 7:00am 

1,500m at 8:15am 

750m at 8:45am

375m at 9:15am

200m at 9:30am

COVID-19 Protocols - To participate in this event competitors over 16 must be vaccinated or have the appropriate waiver.  Your ALHOSN app must be showing ‘Green’ with a negative PCR test result having been undertaken within 96 hours of event day. 

Competitors under 16, who are or who are not fully vaccinated, are also required to undertake a PCR test within 96 hours of event day.
