North Sea Beach Marathon 26.06.2022 – a run for everybody

With distances from 5 km to the marathon distance, there is something for everyone!
After a two years break, we can finally run the North Sea Beach Marathon again.
Join us on the Danish west coast, and experience a race that can’t be experienced anywhere in the world.

The race course

The 10.5 km marked route starts in Hvide Sande, continues down the beach and returns to Hvide Sande. 5 km and 10 km are halfway marks. The running surface is mostly sand, with very little asphalt at the start and finish lines. An unmatched experience, Jutland’s west coast.

To complete the distance, you have to run the course:
2 times on marathon 
1 time on half-marathon
1 time on 10 km
1 time on 5 km

Start and finish is located at “fiskeautionen” on Auktionsgade. 

Entry fees and registration

Standard entry fee per participant before June 12, 2022
Marathon 350 kr. 
Half-marathon 250 kr. 
10 km 175 kr. 
5 km 125 kr. 

From June 13, 2022
+ 50 kr. on the half and marathon distance.
+ 25 kr. on the 5 and 10 km.
Registration on race day: + 50 kr.

Race number retrieval
Your race number can be picked up on race day, from 08.00 AM in the starting area on Auktionsgade. 

In the race week, you can receive you race number in the shop: 56° Nord, Parallelvej 66, 6960 Hvide Sande. From Monday – Friday from 12 – 05 PM and Saturday from 10 AM – 02 PM. Everybody, that pick up their race number in the shop, will get a discount at 20 % on FUSION and Under Armour products.

Prizes
There are prizes for number 1, 2 and 3 to for men and women, on all distances.

Medal
There will be medals for all participants on all the distances.
For the marathon participants, there will be a special medal.

Hydration zones
There will be water and fruits, in the hydration zones on the racecourse.  
At the finish area there will also be a hydration zone.

Left luggage service
You can drop off your belongings, on race day in the starting area from 08 AM.
The area is attended, but using the service it is at your own risk.

What will you get as a participant
As a participant you will receive the amazing Danish west coast and weather.
Electronic timekeeping, a medal to all that finish, good hydrations zones and a goodie bag with local specialties.

Spectators
In the starting area, you have the possibility to buy food and experience entertainment.

Withdrawing of number
According to the Consumer Contracts Act on Internet commerce, there is no right of withdrawal in connection with the purchase of recreational leisure activities. Registration for the North Sea Beach Marathon is therefore binding.

If you are unable to attend in North Sea Beach Marathon, it is possible to transfer your start number to another person. If you are in that situation, use your registration email. Here you can change the name and add information about the new participant. There will be no fee, if you want to change the name and run the same distance.

If you want to change to a longer distance, you have to pay the difference on the entry fee.
