This is a popular series of races held for many years by Northern Athletic Club.

Age on day of race 16 and above.

There are 6 races:

1. 7th October 2021

2. 4th November 2021

3. 2nd December 2021

4. 6th January 2022

5. 3rd February 2022

6. 3rd March 2022

There is a choice of 1 or 3 lap race, the 1 lap race is 1.7 miles and the 3 lap race is 5 miles.  You can change between the 2 distances but in order to count in the league you must have run 4 races out of 6 at the same distance.

To qualify for a t-shirt you must have sign up in advance to run or marshal in all 6 races.  You can request a modification to your entry before the start of each round (so if you want to switch from running to marshalling and vice-versa for that round you can).

WE ARE REQUESTING THAT ALL RUNNERS ARE REQUIRED TO MARSHAL AT LEAST ONCE IN THE SERIES.  THIS CAN BE YOURSELF OR A NOMINATED REPLACEMENT IF YOU WISH TO RUN.  There may be more marshals than we need for the series but if we request you to marshal and this request is unfulfilled then you will not be eligible to collect a T-shirt at the end of the series.  

This event is online registration only.  Number collection will be at the St Pauls Church Hall on TUESDAY 5th OCTOBER from 7 - 9pm for the first race, and on the night of the race thereafter from 6.15pm. If collecting your number on race night please arrive early to ensure that the races can start promptly at 7.00pm.

The start and finish is just outside opposite the Bourne Plaice Chippy.

We are using chip numbers this year and electronic timing therefore you must wear your number and please do not cover it or fold it in any way and you must cross the timing mat in order for your time to do registered. If you don't wear your number you will not be given a time.  If you want to swap between races (eg 3 lap to 1 lap) please contact us either before the race or on the evening before the start, or you won't be given a time.

PLEASE KEEP YOUR NUMBER FOR THE WHOLE SERIES.  IF YOU FORGET YOUR NUMBER YOU WILL BE CHARGED £5 FOR A REPLACEMENT.

Please remember to fill your name, emergency contact, doctor's details, medical info on the back of your number. 

Even if you have paid for the whole series prior to the first round please remember let us know in advance if you are marshalling instead of racing so we can keep a record.

There will be a briefing just before the start of the races, this is for your safety so please listen carefully

The 1 lap mens race will start at 7pm followed by the 1 lap womens , the 3 lap mens and then the 3 lap womens race at 2 minute intervals .  

Please remember these races are on open roads and in the dark.  Obey all marshals’ instructions and please wear REFLECTIVE HI VIZ.  Anyone not wearing REFLECTIVE HI VIZ will not be allowed to run.  Headphones must not be worn.

The presentation will be after the last race and details will be circulated via social media and the NAC website nearer the time.
