The popular charity event "Buerostadtlauf im Lyoner Quartier" in Frankfurt took place in 2020 for the first time in a virtually format due to the CoVid19 pandemic.

A huge success!

Therefore there will be repeated in 2021. Again for a good cause - this time a desalination plant needs to be financed, which will give around 8,000 people, including many children, access to clean drinking water from a well in a depth of 300mtr in northern Kenya, a region which is marked by drought. This prevents poverty, displacement and serious illnesses.

To do some sport for this is even more fun!

The participants run between Thursday, August 19th, 2021 and Thursday, August 26th, 2021 (6 p.m.) 5km or 10km or cycling 30km or 50km - on their own home and favorite route. The times are uploaded to a list of results; a small award ceremony and raffle will then take place and will be streamed live on the Internet.

Even if we don't finish together again: the good feeling of helping and the gratitude of the people in Kenya remains.

This year, too, we are looking for super heroes who will compete in all four competitions. If the pandemic allows, the “office city run” will also be held as a "live" event on Thursday, August 26th, 2021 from 6:15 pm in the Lyoner Quartier in Frankfurt / Niederrad. Further information will follow.
