Welcome to the Nedgroup Charity Santa Dash 2020!!

Nedgroup Investments IOM is delighted to be hosting the event this year to bring the community together at Christmas and raise money for local charities.

The event is being held on Wednesday 16th December 2020, starting at 12.00pm outside Nedgroup Investments IOM offices on Hill Street, Douglas. The race will then follow the familiar route onto Victoria Street and Douglas Promenade (which we have been promised will be safe!) before finishing on Finch Road.  Approximate distance is just over 1 mile.

There is an entry fee of £5, with the full amount being split between the following two charities chosen by Nedgroup Investments (IOM) Limited:  The Children’s Centre and Reach IOM.  Prizes will be awarded to a local charity of the winners’ choice.

Please enter the event by clicking the ‘Registration’ button above so that your details are recorded and we can issue you with a timing chip at registration.  Pre-race registration will be at Bar George, Hill Street from 10.30 am on the day of the event.

Winners of prizes donated by Nedgroup Investments (IOM) Limited (1st, 2nd, 3rd male & female Santa, best dressed male, female and team) will be asked to choose the local charity they wish to donate the prize to from a list of local charities which we will publish nearer the time. You can of course still raise your own sponsorship money for any local charity of your choice!

PLEASE NOTE

1) Douglas Prom Development have given their full support to the event.  However, with the ongoing promenade works, extra care will need to be taken between the end of Victoria Street and Sam Webbs due to narrower pavements and some trip hazards. We may also need to slightly divert the route near Sam Webbs. Further info will be provided to entrants via email once entries close and on the day before the start

2) IOM Government Covid restrictions will be complied with at all times.  Should this result in the cancellation of the event entrants will be notified by email.  If it is appropriate an alternative date may be arranged but if this is not possible the entry fee will NOT be refunded and the full amount will be paid to the nominated charities

3) In the event of really adverse weather (we’re used to a bit of wind and rain but snow/ice is a possibility in December!) it may be necessary to cancel the eventEntrants will be notified by email. If it is appropriate an alternative date may be arranged but if this is not possible the entry fee will NOT be refunded and the full amount will be paid to the nominated charities
