Dear Runner-Community, dear Walking-Crew!
 

The association Altenbetreuung daheim e.V is engaged in the allday life monitoring of older fellow human beeings for more than 40 years. We want to support older people in their day-to-day operations and thereby to allow them to live a intependent and self-determined  life in their home. The association  is selfless and non-profit organisation.

To continue our work we are dependent on donations and grants. The limitations by the defeat of the covid-19 pandemia have taken our activities for the older people. After the cancellation of the Mayener Lukasmarkt-Festival abzeichnet, we got the idea to organise a virtual Lukasmarkt - Donation-Run in this during-period.

With the proceeds we want to continue our activities for older fellow human beeings. To do this, we need protective clothing and desinfectants for our committed Volunteers. Additionally we want to prepare a special joy for "our" seniors and for our Volunteers. For the upcoming Christmas season we want to sweeten their allday life with a little Christmas parcel.

To do this, we need your support for the 1. virtual Lukasmarkt-Donation-Run.

Participating is very easy!

Who does it work?

• you sign up for free on this website. (We are pleased about donations for the charity),
• you run alone a route of your choice with a distance of 2k (minimum) to 21,1k* (maximum) [*the upper limit does not apply für Ultrarunners and marathonies ;-)] between october 10th, 00:01 a.m and october 18th, 11:59 p.m. and have a lot of fun doing it (very important!). Of course you can also (nordic-)walk, hike, our promenade,
• then enter your results (distance, time) with the sent link into the resultsboard,
• then we beg you to post (freiwillig, ist nicht verpflichtend) a screenshot of your track, a picture of your watch or a selfie with the sign of your hometown on instagram under Hashtag #Lukasmarktlauf2020 between october 10th, 00:01 a.m and october 19th, 11:59 p.m.,
• the certificate and the bib you will get online on this Registration portal,
• in addition we are giving away great prizes under all Instagramposts (Hashtagposts) and under all participatants.

Die Altenbetreuung daheim e.V. (Ad) ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, der seit über 40 Jahren aktiv ältere Mitbürgerinnen und Mitbürger im Alltag begleitet. Die Ad versteht sich als Dienstleister und unterstützt ältere Mitmenschen bei ihren alltäglichen Verrichtungen oder leisten ihnen Gesellschaft.
