Aqua Velo Athletes: After finishing the bike, rack your bike, head out of the transition area and turn left to enter the finish arch near the pavillion.
This allows us to announce your name and get in the video of the finish. Your time is finished at the finish line, NOT AT THE BIKE finish.
Intermediate Distance Athletes
The intermediate distance bike and run will both require two loops of the designated course.
On the bike at the end of the first loop, you will be directed the same
as one loop participants but as you approach the transition area, stay
to the LEFT OF THE CONES and proceed onto your second loop
. Be very cautous at this point as Sprint Triathletes
will be on your right mounting their bikes and starting
their bike portion.
At the end of your second loop, stay to the
right to dismount and proceed to the run.
Run
Upon exiting the transition area, proceed away from the transition
area to the Yellow Poppy Allen trail. It is a clockwise rotaion
on the YELLOW TRAIL ONLY, There are only a few cross trails,
we wil have signs at those locations but always stay on the yellow trail.
As you exit the woods, you will be in the participant parking area,
continue along the cones towards the transition area. Intermediate distance
will then proceed to your second loop. There is a lap counter at that
location as well. For sprint triathletes and intermediate
after the second loop, proceed directly twoards the pavillion (near beach) to finish arch.
Transition area opens at 6:30AM, Sprint triathletes will rack their bikes on the left side,
long course on the right to assit with the flow. First come first serve for your rack space. 5-6 bikes per rack.
