When the community comes together, great things happen! For the past eleven years, families and friends of the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities have turned out in great numbers to support the Lakeview 5K, raising funds to support infants, children and adults with disabilities. While this year is unlike any other, our supporters have asked that we Keep it Moving in 2020… so this year, the Lakeview 5K is going virtual!
You are invited to run a 5K, walk a mile, Stroll & Roll around your yard or make a donation… whatever you choose to do, you can be a part of this great event. Results are posted, on an honor system, at http://my.raceresult.com/
Although there will be no award winners this year, we know that you will want to remember this Virtual Lakeview 5K so every paid registration will receive a specially-designed T shirt that will be sent after June 25.
The Virtual Lakeview 5K is scheduled May 6 through June 25. Please join this new way of making great things happen for children and adults with disabilities. Come on… Keep it Moving-2020!
All proceeds from the Lakeview 5K directly benefit the array of programs of the New Jersey Institute for Disabilities which provides comprehensive services to more than 1,500 infants, children and adults throughout New Jersey. https://www.njid.org/
