TriYAS Presented by ADNOC celebrates 11 years in 2021.

It is the region's only day into night triathlon held annually on Yas Marina Circuit.

TriYAS Presented by ADNOC is open to participants with the emphasis on setting personal targets and achieving them whether you are a first timer or a seasoned veteran.

Swim the Yas Marina, transition in the Formula 1 Pit Lane, cycle on the 5.0km track and run through the Yas Marina as you achieve your goal. TriYAS is a true community race and is a guaranteed fun day out for the whole family.

The Olympic Triathlon contest will start the event day a 6:20am as the sun rises over Yas Island, followed by the Sprint contest from 7am. These contests are non-drafting and non wet suit.  

New in 2021 is the introduction of the SPRINT DUATHLON (6:30pm) to be held after the Super Sprint and Junior Super Sprint plus the KIDS TRI (100m, 5 km, 1.5 km) from 4pm before the Elite Sprint Invitational which will be held from 5:15pm .

The Elite race in 2021 will return as a 'DRAFT LEGAL' Sprint race starting at 5:15pm. This invitational event will feature a number of the region's best triathletes racing head to head in a staggered start timed handicap format.

All participants will receive a souvenir transition towel with their race pack.

Tuesday 12th October

Race Pack collection at TrainYAS between 6pm and 9pm.

Race Pack Collection and Bike Racking:

Thursday 14th October
Race Pack collection with option of bike check in/racking from 5pm–8pm @ Yas Marina Circuit.

Friday 15th October 

Race Day Race Pack Collection and bike check in/racking from 5:30am to 6:40am until 20 minutes prior to the contest you have entered and then from 1pm to 6pm for afternoon events.

COVID-19 Protocols - To participate in this event competitors over 16 must be vaccinated or have the appropriate waiver.  Your ALHOSN app must be showing ‘Green’ with a negative PCR test result having been undertaken within 48 hours of event day.  
Competitors under 16, who are or who are not fully vaccinated, are also required to undertake a PCR test within 48 hours of event day.

Parking Information: Plentiful and free parking is available within Yas Marina Circuit in Gold Carpark 1.
