Open Water Swimming Competition | Al Hudayriat Island

The Daman Open Water Swim competition will return to Al Hudayriyat Island on Friday January 24.

The swim will follow the FBMA Ladies run which will also be held on this day.

Join us at this wonderful beach with your family and friends where you can participate by swimming in a range of swim distances. 

Competition distances are 3Km (3000m), 1.5Km (1500m), 750m and especially for the little ones we are offering the 200m dash.

CUT OFF TIME for the 3000m (3Km) swim - any swimmer failing to complete the first lap of the course inside 30 minutes will be stopped from starting lap 2 and then within the hour for completing lap 2 to be eligible to start lap 3. This timing is in place for the safety of all participants.

The Open Water swim competition will start at 8:30 am. 

The anticipated start times are:

3,000m at 8:30am 

1,500m at 9:40am 

750m at 10:20am

200m at 10:45am
