This was my first marathon and I'm so glad I choose this race to be my first! The scenery was amazing and the support along the way was a life saver. Great job with the organizing, etc! If the gentleman who so kindly gave me an energy gel pack toward the end of the race reads this, I want to say again how incredibly grateful I was for that and the encouraging words. I'm not sure I would have finished otherwise. Great race, great place, and I can't wait to do it again sometime.

I have run many marathons in my life, and the Marquette Marathon is one of the best! You will be shocked by the great support and the beauty of the course. As a former race director, I was very impressed with the volunteers, and the support along the race course. They deserve lots of praise! Marquette is a beautiful city with lots to do. I am looking forward to running it again next year!
