Wombwell 5 has been running for many years but 2019 will be the last time it is hosted by Wombwell Athletics Club.

There are some changes to arrangements from previous years. Please note the following;

Location -  Wombwell Recreation Ground, Station Road, S73 0BJ

Registration opening time for collection of timing chips - 9:00

Race start time -  10:30

Entry Fees -  £12 affiliated, £14 unaffiliated

Entries close on Thursday 14th February at 9am

THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY!

Transfers are available at a charge of £5 until Monday 11th February 11pm

RACE HQ, TOILETS & BAG STORE – Will be in the main athletic club house.

NUMBER COLLECTION – All numbers will be collected on the day and will be of the number/disposable timing chip combined type. Collection will be available from 9am. Please allow plenty of time to collect your number.

CAR PARKING – there is no specific arrangement for car parking this year. Please use the town car parks or other suitable areas. Please do NOT park on the roads used for the race or the housing areas directly opposite Wombwell Recreation Ground.

Finishers with race number up to 450 guaranteed a medal!
