WELCOME TO THE ONLINE ENTRY FOR THE SUNDERLAND STROLLERS PIER TO PIER RACE 2019

We are delighted to confirm that PGS Law from South Shields will, once again be sponsoring the race.

The run starts on the beach at South Shields Pier and follows a superb scenic route along the cliff paths past Marsden Rock and Souter Lighthouse.  It rejoins the beach at Whitburn and finishes at Roker Pier in Sunderland.

Runners MUST keep away from public highways, failure to do so will result in disqualification.

£25 - UKA Registered Runners       -       £27 - Non-Registered Runners

Transport is available from Roker (Sunderland) to South Shields (£2 payable in advance or on the day - first come first served).  There is NO transport after the race.

In accordance with UK Athletics Rules headphones are NOT permitted, wearers will be asked to remove them, failure to do so will result in disqualification.

There is a 2 hour cut off finish time and a water point at Souter Lighthouse, race distance is approximately 7 miles

Entries will close on 12 May 2019 or when we are SOLD OUT

Race Numbers for entries made after 3 May will be available for collection on the day, they WILL NOT BE POSTED OUT

No refunds or deferrals in the event of either an entrant being unable to participate or the event is cancelled.

Sunderland Strollers are a sociable running club with over 350 members, some never run, some take their running very seriously.

We compete at distances from 5K to Ultra Marathons, membership is just £25/year which includes UK Athletics registration.
